Cardinal Dolan to celebrate Mass in honor of all veterans.

May 17, 2019 By National Board

from Veteran’s Affairs Committee …

On Sunday, May 26, 2019, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan will celebrate the 10:15 AM High Mass in honor of all veterans, especially those who died in service.

It is requested that any Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) members, especially veterans, who want to attend, assemble by the main entrance to St. Patrick’s Cathedral (5th Ave. between East 50 and 51 Streets), by 9:50 AM.

There will be a procession, led by an Honor Guard/Color Guard, into the cathedral consisting of US Navy personnel in NYC participating in Fleet Week, veterans and their families and friends, and AOH members, beginning at 10:05 AM. A Navy admiral and Marine general will read the two readings, the choir will sing patriotic songs, and a bugler will play TAPS at the end of Mass. Some people are planning to go to brunch and/or visit the Intrepid.

If there are any questions, contact Robert Grant at (917) 445-7730.
